SCAD "Drop out" Fee

Recently I got a job of my dreams. However the pay is garbage and I don't even get my first check until the end of February. I have my rent covered until then and I thought I was fine until my now past college sent me a collections letter. They require a payment of 4,000 dollars due to the fact that I have essentially "Dropped out" and a bunch of other stupid mumbo jumbo. Long story short: I owe them 4K.

I currenty have 1.5K in savings not counting my rent. The 500 is for groceries and any other expenses I have for the next two months. 

I literally have no idea how I am going to handle this and honestly, this is basically my last ditch effort to try and make some funds. Any help is appreciated and art is 100% offered.
