Over the weekend our friends home was broken into in the neighbourhood of Elgin. This young family was just starting out with two little girls and a baby on the way.
They took some very sentimental belongings as well as some very valuable items including rings, necklaces family airlooms. Along with all the electronics such as a lap top, x-box the girls I pads, DVD player.
A lot of the personal clothing as well was stolen.
The kitchen was emptied of everything including dishes, cups, knifes, toaster oven etc. All the food from the pantry, fridge and freezer was completely emptied.
Tools, laundry soap, toilet paper and so much more was taken.
Since yesterday this wonderful community that we live in has stepped up and helped out this wonderful family.
More importantly we are trying to raise money to help the family get back on their feet.
