Von Steuben Robotics at US open

Currently in its 4th year, Von Steuben Robotics is starting fresh with a new team of underclassmen who against all odds became part of the championship alliance in a VEX Robotics Competition. This qualified the team to go to the national US Open in Iowa in April 2018. This will be the first time Von Steuben and Chicago Public Schools will be represented in the US Open National VEX Robotics Competition. While the team constantly try to find ways to fundraise (baked goods, special events) the money to be raised here is to assist with buying new parts for the robot and covering cost of transportation and registration fees.
