 SALEM, OR
We are the family of the amazing Connor James. Connor passed away in a tragic accident in Eugene while a freshman at the University of Oregon on April 1st, 2016. Connor was a shining light in this world and touched the lives of many in his short 18 years. One of his great passions was lacrosse. He started the sport when he was in the fifth grade and played all the way through high school, culminating his senior year as captain, First Team All-Conference, and taking his team to the State playoffs for the first time in years. Lacrosse is still a club sport in Oregon and is privately funded by families. In honor of Connor, we would like to establish a memorial fund that will be used to help provide much needed gear and equipment to the Sprague lacrosse team and begin a college scholarship fund to be awarded to a lacrosse player every year. Our hope is that we will be able to provide this assistance for years to come. It would be with much gratitude that you help honor our loving son and brother, Connor, by donating anything you can to his fund.

Sincerest thanks and love from the James Family.

#6 forever in our hearts and those of many others

In Honor of Connor James' Birthday- April 20, 1997
With just over a year since his accident, our grief remains raw and present. Connor lived in color- he lived large and his creative mind was always at work- even when he was in class! As a celebration of his creativity and his life, our family and a few of his closest friends designed an original Vans shoe with his doodles and are supporting a fundraising effort for his birthday. Just days before his accident on April 1st all he wanted for his upcoming birthday was a new pair of Vans.
We hope to make this an annual event as we enjoy and remember Con and honor his love for life. You can join us in celebrating his birthday by:
1. Donating to his memorial fund or
2. Ordering a pair of CJ Classic Vans from the website- www.vans.com. Instructions are in the pictures below, along with the picture to upload for the shoe. Post them on your page and tag Connor James. For every pair ordered $20 will go to his memorial fund.

Thank you for your continued love and support,
Sarah and Natalie
