The VISTA VERDE HELP FUND for stray animals
*A BIG PROBLEM*
The World Health Organization estimates there may be 30 million abandoned cats & dogs in Brazil. Many end up being killed and abused on the streets. Luckily, there are several NGOs around the country to rescue and take care of them.
Dionete & John are, however, part of what they call 'just a loose group of people' in São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil, who band together to help rescue these animals, have them spayed/neutered, nurtured back to health with whatever operations/medicines/treatment they need, house them, and, with luck, get them adopted out into loving homes. They are really passionate about it & relentessly work towards minimazing the suffering of these creatures.
