Trip to UK to visit my Dad

A little over a year ago my Dad was diagnosed with early stage Alzheimer's disease. His health and wellbeing began to decline a short time after my Mum, his life partner, passed away. 

Because I live very, very far from the UK I was unable to see my Mum before she passed. There wasn't enough time as she passed unexpectedly and I live on a very low, fixed income. In fact, Social Security Disability pays me less than $1000 a month. While I can live reasonably comfortably on that amount, I have no savings, no nest egg or financial safety net.

I would really like to be able to visit my Dad while there is still a chance that he remembers me. As well as covering my airfare from Hawai'i to the UK the funds will allow me to have some small amount of speding money while I am there. Summer 2017 is probably the earliest relistic date for me to make the trip and it would be a lifetime achievement to be able to make the journey.

I am incredbly grateful for any gift that you feel you can make. Any amount helps, the size of the gift isn't as important as the spirit it's given in.
