Orlando Local 6 news report:

On Easter evening, April, 21st 2019, the Jagmohan and Bacchus family experienced the unimaginable tragic death of their son Bhowani (Vishal) Jagmohan and daughter Christina Bacchus. After visiting their family in Orlando for a last minute Easter gathering, a speeding vehicle drove into their lane and horrifically crashed into their vehicle, killing them both. The driver of the speeding vehicle was apparently running away from a “hit and run” incident, and without regard - unnecessarily and tragically ending their lives.

The inseparable couple had been together for 2 years. Christina was already part of the Jagmohan family just as Bhowani, aka Vishal, was to the Bacchus family. Moments before the crash, they told everyone at the family gathering to save the date of May 4th 2019, as both families planned on getting together to discuss preparations for an official engagement.

Everything Vishal and Christina did together was precious. Christina captured their love through her passion of album scrap-booking. She had already created 5 albums, which are referenced by the families as, “The Greatest Love Story Ever Told”. In one of the albums, there is a photo (below) with Christina, Vishal, and all parents meeting together for the first time. Christina titled this page “This Moment Matters”.

Christina was a beautiful, humble, joyful, outgoing, and loving woman. She was a 2nd grade teacher at Partin Settlement Elementary in Kissimmee, Florida and spoke proudly of her students, her responsibilities as an educator, and her joy for teaching. Christina had a blossoming teaching career. She had a passion for helping others and made her parents and brother very proud. Christina’s best friend was her Mother, they spoke each day and had an inseparable bond. She was close with Vishal’s only sister, Rohanie Persad. Christina also loved and cared for Vishal’s parents, both whom loved her as their own daughter.

Vishal was handsome, loving, caring, funny, and always placed family first. He was a Ride Technician at Universal Studios and was extremely passionate about his career. Vishal had unwavering work ethics, never missing a day of work. That same day, he shared details about a job promotion he was to receive. Family meant the world to Vishal. He and Christina would drive hours each week between Kissimmee and Orlando to spend time with family.

Vishal and Christina loved each other more than anything. Vishal would cook for Christina on his days off and take her to work to avoid her dealing with the morning traffic. Christina would capture their memories in her scrapbooks and was always planning their next outings together. Little things we take for granted, it meant the world to them and they demonstrated their love for each other.

For their family and friends, they leave behind a hole that will never be filled. We miss them dearly and will forever cherish them.

WE LOVE YOU VISHAL AND CHRISTINA
