Vince's Band of Brothers

Tax deductible
One Firefighter doesn’t get cancer, a Brotherhood does.

Our brother, Vince Jones, has dedicated most of his life to public service, he has served over two decades with the US Navy and fire service, most of which has been for the City of Highland Village. Vince has held every rank within the fire department to include volunteer service and he most currently serves as the A shift driver operator. Vince was planning to retire shortly after his 62nd birthday on February 28th 2019, however his plans came to a halt in October 2018 when he was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer. His retirement was placed on hold while he completed 6 rounds of chemotherapy. On June 10th he will embark on the next leg of his campaign by undergoing five consecutive weeks of radiation therapy at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston. Vince’s optimism, support from those around him, and most importantly his faith, have kept him strong throughout this grueling chapter in his life. We, his brothers, have vowed to assist in any way possible and we need your help.

If you are local and would like to show your support in person there is a fund raising event being held at Marty B's in Bartonville.
