Vince Smith's Funeral Expenses

On May 3, 2017, our dear friend, Vince Smith, passed away tragically from his long battle with Crohn's disease. Vince's genuine warmth, generosity and tenacious strength will be deeply missed.
Vince's beloved family is saddened and grieving his loss. In the midst of his mourning, Vince's mother faces daunting financial challenges, including the funeral expenses for Vince.
Vince's mother, Ella Smith, lives on a fixed income as a retiree and, after double knee replacement surgery within the past year, she lives modestly in Vince's childhood home in Aspen Hill. Vince has provided support the past few years to help with her care and household expenses. Without Vince's income, Ms. Smith faces the immediate challenge of covering the cost of her son's funeral.
There is no way for Ms. Smith to get through this kind of crisis on her own. As friends of Vince, we are organizing to raise money to his mother cover transportation costs to the funeral home, as well as embalming and funeral costs. Any addtional funding will be to help his mother pay for any other expenses incurred.
Any donation you can make to ease this difficult time would be so appreciated and would make a big difference.
