VP Guatemala Mission Trip

The Victory Project was founded in 2007 as a faith-based, non-profit, 501c3 organization.
We are an after-school program who specializes in mentoring young men in Montgomery
County, offering an alternative to the streets.
VP is funded by private foundations and
individuals. We do not accept local, state or federal funding.


In the summer of 2016, Victory Project collaborated with Fairhaven Church to send 6 youth and 2 volunteers on a mission trip to Guatemala.  The positive impact of this trip was very apparent in the dispositions of the youth who attended.  Lives were clearly changed, as these young men began making more thoughtful, purposeful choices in their lives.  

As part of the "Enlightenment" curriculum, the Victory Project is implementing a yearly mission trip available to all students eligible in the program.  
This year, we want to send 18-20 students and volunteers back to Guatemala.  The trip will take place from June 3rd - June 10th.  

VP staff are working quickly with the students to obtain passports.  Airfare will need to be secured by early April. This means 1/2 of the funds ($15K) needs to be raised by April 1st!!  The remaining funds will be used once in Guatemala.  

The cost to send one student is $1,600.  Victory Project would like your help to raise $30,000 to send as many students and volunteers as possible.

By joining in this partnership with Victory Project, you are opening up a whole new world for at-risk teen boys. Not only will they leave the city (some for the first time)... but will experience flying in an airplane... traveling abroad... visiting an area of the world that experiences poverty on a greater scale than they experience in their own world.  It is a chance for these young men to volunteer and give of themselves, and to serve alongside the locals.  But most importantly...to grow spiritually.
