Vic Bignell
Donation protected
This is Vic Bignell, 94 year old D-Day veteran who served his country for four years during the war. Recently he fell over, breaking his nose, rib and had lots of cuts and bruises.
Someone stole £200 from his wallet leaving just £20 when he was in hospital. He had just withdrawn his pension before falling over.
If you know who stole his money, please report them to the police.
Some kind person dropped an envelope with £200 through his letterbox, so this gofundme is to raise money for a new coat and clothes that were cut off him by the medics to treat him safely as he had a bad fall on concrete. His trusty flight jacket with lamb wool lining was cut, so need to buy him a new warm coat, and replace the other clothes.
Any extra money raised will go towards his and fellow comrades next visit to Europe for their annual D-Day pilgramage. This year they will be going to Belguim to see the battlefields, graves and various landmarks.

27/2/17 update
I'd like to thank the donations already made, the £250 will be given to Vic in the next couple of days, anything over this amount will go to www.project71.co.uk
If you want to make a donation less than the gofundme £5 minimum, make a paypal donation on www.project71.co.uk
