INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Nov. 20, 2015) — Indianapolis Metropolitan police say a woman was found dead inside an SUV on the northeast side.
Police made the discovery before 10 a.m. at 31st and LaSalle streets near Washington Park. The woman suffered serious head trauma, investigators said. She was found inside a GMC Yukon.
So far, investigators have been able to determine that the SUV arrived on the street around 2 a.m. and had been sitting there ever since. A neighbor saw someone slumped in the driver’s seat and called police.
The victim was identified as 30-year-old Cristal Avilez
