Veterinary Care for Copper

As many of you have seen on the news, my friend's dog Copper was stabbed yesterday at 4th and Yew during a major incident (details at Global News) . At this time, my friend is facing vet bills of around $2000, and if Copper turns out to need surgery for the deepest wound, that total will go up dramatically. We're hoping that Victim Services will be able to help out a bit, but we know they'll be limited at best in what they can do, so we're turning to the community for help.

Any donations that his vet bills do not eat up will be donated to the BC SPCA Animal Hospital in Vancouver. Thank you for all your care and concern, we all appreciate it very much.
