How to bring AWARENESS to P T S D, Secondary
P T S D and EDUCATION concerning the 22 Soldiers and Veterans who commit suicide a day.

ROLLING BILLBOARDS

When our soldiers come home we need public education in order to turn returning home into a family affair.  (Spouses, children, mom, dad, brothers and sisters are all care givers).

We all know, even though some are home, some are not back yet. Educating the public is key to helping our military loved ones transition home.

Understand even though I am home (in body) and in a safe zone. I am always on alert status. (in my mind).
*Do Not sneak up on me. PLEASE*

I did not swerve to miss that soda can (reality)
I swerved to miss that IED (in my mind)."

Hello,  my name is Nicholas Walker.  I am an AIr Force veteran and a small business owner in Frederick, Maryland and a member of The American Legion FSK Post 11.

I have a small business with a little bit of land to set 3 trailers on so I created rolling billboards to bring awareness and educate the public about PTSD and the 22 suicdes a day.

I can't be every where so I rent them out, $1.00 an hour for a 4x8 enclosed trailer, $1.50 an hour for a 5x10 enclosed trailer, and $2.00 an hour for a 6x12 enclosed trailer.  My friends and the community rent the trailers and help educate people where ever they go.  100% of trailer rental goes to help veterans.

Every Veteran Service Organization or Post across this great country of ours has a member, like me, that has a small business with a little bit of land for 3 trailers.

I am looking for 22 other veteran owned businesses (locations) to help educate and bring awareness to  PTSD and the 22 suicides a day.

Donating what you can 5, 10, 15, 22, 100, 500 dollars a piece, we would be able to fund the project ourselves. The first round of funding is for 22 locations (66 trailers,
178 rolling  billboards) each location will have 3 Veteran Awareness trailers (9 rolling billboards).

Incentives for donating:   Rolling Memorials:
This will help put real faces in front of the public.
(these men and women are not actors, they are veterans).

$ 4,000 = 4 X 8 trailer named after the soldier or veteran. (Your soldiers name here, with picture on back of trailer)

$ 5,000 = 5 X 10 trailer named after the soldier or veteran. (Sgt. Richard L Stanley, US Army, Vietnam Veteran, with picture on back of trailer)

$ 6,000 = 6 X 12 trailer named after the soldier or veteran. (Sgt. Donald G Stanley, US Army, Vietnam Veteran, with picture on back of trailer)

Trailer vinyl last 7 - 10 years, the rolling memorial will be located closest to the hometown of the soldier/veteran.

An orange colored company has been doing this since 1946 (70 years) so it has a proven track record of success.

If you have any questions or require further detailed information, please feel free to contact me.
I look forward to further conversation about how we can move our mission forward.
