Hip Replacement Surgery for Mike

Donation protected
Briefly, I had it all in the Air Force except for family life and sobriety. I flew about 6000 hours in Reconnaissance and AC-130 Gunships in every combat operation from Urgent Fury Panama 1989 to Allied Force Kosovo 2000. Those years I was deployed about 200 days every year. I developed osteoarthritis in my hip, needs to be replaced, tinnitus, neuropathy, depression, and PTSD. When I separated as a Major for a lucrative Defense Contractor job, my family had disolved anyways. Over the years my funds shrank, hope dwindled and near insanity ensued. I lost everything I owned to hurricane Ivan, 2004, living in Navarre, FL. More drinking led to DUIs, debt and dangers of walking and biking Florida's byways. Recently I was awarded a 100% disability pension from the VA. I was incarcerated at Santa Rosa Correctional Institution Annex until April 28, 2018, for a PTSD related drinking binge that ended with me battering two Bay County Deputies plus habitual driving without a license and DUI. I really want to thank the deputies for preventing me from getting back in that car and possibly killing myself or someone else. In my time at Florida's toughest prison I saw six people die and was in a very regimented Veteran Reentry Program. Of the 46 in our cell block half will never see the outside of a Florida prison. Not sure how it affected my PTSD, but I gave my addiction over to God as well as my fears and everything else. I read the Bible through almost twice not missing a daily reading up to this day. Thanks to Daily Bread ministry. Funny not many Bibles in public schools, but you can get a nice Bible in Florida Prisons. There were some good guys there just broken by addiction and other stresses. I was safe from harm because most everyone respected me as a former Air Force Major and everyone loved crew dog, Gunship war stories. Plus I worked out like an MMA fighter. While locked up my pension was reduced to $68 and remains there today, even though the VA received my Release Paper Work on May 5. That is all I have to live on besides $192 SNAP food stamps monthly till September. What little savings I had I spent on my love Pamela Sue living near Tyndall AFB, where I had worked for General Dynamics Information Technologies. I had to leave Pam who I love dearly because of how I hurt her emotionaly in July 2016 and January 2017.  Pam really helped me and was more than wonderful to me! I spent my last funds on 4 days of cheap hotels and now I am crashing on a strangers floor for $100 a week. I needed a safe place with a good bed, laundry and I picked up payments when my pension was finally reinstated in mid July.. VA was quick to take it away and I had to pay back the overpayment right away.  Thanks to a wonderful Landlord, the Air Commando Association, all my friends, and my wonderful attorney Sally Stenton I am in a nice home again. I hate to ask, not befitting an officer or a quiet professional. Just please help briefly this one time. I was sober 18 months, but on prescription Tramadol which I do not like and only take half dose,  my stomach is a mess. I threw up black after being in heat. Ended up being a bleeding ulcer. Now I am having trouble walking and need my left hip replaced. I am using a cane and on pain meds. Enough about me. Go out there and do something good today. God bless all my family and friends. If you don't think I need help then help another vet for me.  God bless America, and God bless Patrick Swayze! That is a joke maybe some get the reference.Hate to ask, but I need help.
