Velez family fire relief fundraiser

On December 8th, the newly wedded Velez family woke up to a rude awakening as their home went up in flames because of a faulty furnace. The family luckily made it out all safe but unfortunately the downstairs neighbor lost both of his dogs due to the incident  which meant everything to him as he was at work the dogs were trapped. Roberto, Samantha, and baby Mya lost all of their belongings and left with nothing but the clothes on their backs. With Mya’s first birthday on the 13th of Decemberand Christmas around the corner this is heartbreaking news, the birthday and Christmas gifts and tree are completely gone.   Humbling enough the family is thankful to be alive and safe knowing the situation could have been severely worse with the presence of the baby. They are working on trying to find temporary housing and replacing life needs for them and the baby. I am asking for donations to bring baby Mya a birthday and Christmas and step into the new year with some replaced items. 

Also a big thanks to the Milwaukee Police Department, Milwaukee Fire Department, and Red Cross for the support and taking proper action.
