Cochlear Implant Processor

Donation protected
I went to St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf in St. Louis, MO when I was a little kid. I received my first cochlear implant in 1990. My cochlear implant processor's outer magnet broke in 1998 and I tried to replace it for few years. I had no luck in getting that replaced. I decided to go into deaf world and I really didn't think about hearing for many years until I realized that I missed it. I haven't heard sounds or voices for over 15 years. Few years ago, I decided to try get cochlear implant processor. I was not sure because my implant is from 1990. I called Cochlear company and found out that it is still useable. I contacted my audiologist from Gallaudet University and things got processed from there. I'm very excited about it! I got good news that my insurance will cover cochlear implant processor at 100% and now waiting for approval. I was told that I need to pay deductible and co-pay, which comes up to $535. I am setting up $600 for anyone who want to support me and donate to me to make it happen. :-)
