Brad Needs A Kidney
Hello, my name is Sarah and I'd like to tell you the story of my husband, Brad, and his illness.
Brad is an amazing human being who became quite ill in the end of February 2013. Brad is the kindest person I know and I love him so very much. Even though he is ill he is constantly offering to help others.
Brad was diagnosed with end stage renal disease (kidney failure) in April of 2013 and was told that he would require a kidney transplant and will need to be on dialysis until he recieves a kidney.
We are still waiting for that kidney transplant almost three years later.
It also turns out that kidney failure is an expensive illness. Between dialysis supplies, two hospital stays, doctor visits, infections, lab tests, and the slew of medications Brad is now required to take our medical expenses have increased quite a bit. Not to mention the recovery time that will put Brad out of work for up to potentially six months.
Your money will be going to medical expenses and keeping our bills paid during the time Brad will be out of commission from the transplant. We don't know when Brad will recieve his transplant so any funds you donate will be saved for when we need them for those bills.
I can't put into words how much this means to us.
Brad is so important to so many people.
Thank you very much for reading this. If you are unable to donate that is completely fine, I just ask you to please boost the signal and share this far and wide.
The english language doesn't have sufficient words to express the gratitude I feel but I can at least say "Thank you!"
~Sarah~
