Illustrator Pay Off

I'm an author of children's mysteries and young adult mysteries. A few years back I contracted with a young lady to work on my 50-state, geography, mystery series and fell into arears on the payments due to the cost being more than I could really afford.
The Junior Geography Detective Squad (JGDS), 50-state, mystery, trivia series really means a lot to me as I would like to see the books supplement social studies curriculum across the United States. I feel that the series has merit and would love to get the series back on track. I can't get back to publishing this series until I have paid off my previous illustrator. I have found another illustrator who is going to do my covers and interior illustrations for less than 1/5 of what I contracted for with the illustrator.
I would like to see this campaign completed by June 30, 2016. By completely paying off one illustrator, I can start a new campaign to stay on top of the game with the new illustrator.
I really believe in this series and feel that by tying up loose ends I will be motivated to move on and get the series back on track.
My appreciation would be shown in my Acknowledgements page thanking all who contributed to the campaigns to continue this series. It is a very large project with 47 books to re-republish, republish and publish, so by having the backing I would finally be able to get something I truly believe in out there with the hopes that one day National Geographic Kids Books or Scholastic will pick up my series so my books can be in the schools.
