Tuesday Feb 14, a tornado hit Van Vleck, Texas. My sister in law Ashlie was home with her two youngest children, by the grace of God she was able to shield the children as their home was flipped and destroyed. The children survived with only minor scrapes and bruises, however Ashlie was Life Flight with back and neck fractures. My brother and his family have lost everything, including the stress of what is going to be very expensive medical bills. We are asking for any help, including clothing and shoes.

This saddens me greatly for all those who donated to help this mother Ashlie & her 3 kids. I hope you report this & get your money back & give to Ashlie directly. Her ex, father of the kids, is the one getting the money from this campaign & not giving any to Ashlie. She & her kids had to flee their home with basically the clothes on their backs, possibly looking at surgery, etc. The ex has a job, making money, a house, etc. He doesn't need this money like the mother of his kids & his kids do! What he is doing is fraudulent, as far as I'm concerned! This campaign leads people to believe they are helping this mother of 3 & tornado victim, this is not the case! Please do not donate to this campaign anymore! Anthony Ovesny how can you live with yourself & your sister Jennifer Parke the one that started this campaign for her sister-n-law. They both are just disgraceful...& that's saying it nicely!

I was hit by a car 20yrs ago.iwas told I would never...never be able to work again. That the best I could hope for was to be placed in a group home and be cared for, for the rest of my life. I went to through myself off a bridge.....I was done with life....I...I was so.....SO mad at God. But he ....HE steped in and stoped me from throwing my life away. So through all the years..years! Of doctors telling me to give it up.i kept telling them that you don't know how big my God is. God did not stop me from that bridge just to let me have a little life. I had no job, no home, and no family. Only the cloths on my back...plus the knowledge that God had bigger plans for me. Today I have all the little things:truck, house, job...things. more importantly the Big things:A God who really. .really Loves...Me. a family. ..a..family that I get to love. And people...people like you that I...I get to help...it does not get any better then that. I will be with you for the long haul. On my pay days. One day you...you too will have a story to tell of how great God is. But that will take a lot of time....and...and a lot of pain. But that IS how it works. God saved you.as a way of having a new story for someone else.

When I read this story, I was so moved by this mother's courage. As a mother of a young child myself, this hits close to home... and I know that we will always to whatever it takes to protect our babies. God was with you and your family protecting you that day; and He will continue to be with you. I am sending prayers of strength and speedy recovery for this mother and her sweet family.
