Valhalla Flooding Support

As many of you know I started Valhalla Tattoo & Piercing 5 years ago, almost to the day!

Last week due to the inclement weather a frozen pipe 3 floors above the studio burst, causing a cascade of water to pour through the entire building and flood the shop floor for just over an hour.

The reason this happened was due to the landlord of the building converting the property above into residential suites. Mid-construction the water pipes were left without insulation and through a week of extreme temperatures this negligence has utterly ruined my ability to trade as a business.

I am currently in talks with the landlord and making a claim on their insurance to repair the damages as well as seek compensation for loss of earnings for my team of talented artists and loyal reception staff.

As we all know, insurance agencies are quick to take money but lay out a mile of red tape and bureaucratic nonsense before paying anything back on a claim.

I'm hoping things will go smooth once they agree to follow through with paying out what is required and the repairs and reconstruction wont take too long, but in the mean time, myself, and those that work with me still have bills to pay, mouths to feed and rent that's due.

I am hesitant in asking for charity, in this, or any manner of ways, but if you were able to help out,  even the smallest of donations to keep us supported in this stressful time would be greatly appreciated and I would be sure to arrange vouchers or discounts on any tattoo or piercing for any and all of you that helped out.

Even if you're unable to offer monetary help, then simply sharing this plea would mean the world to us.
