This is Kellie Ann RN, and she is the founder of the Vaping Advocacy and Education Program.
My name is Maria, and over the last year, I have had the opportunity to meet this incredible nurse, who has spent the last three years, diligently working to ensure that correct information about vaping is shared with the public. She has worked vigorously, in researching and sharing information about vaping with others and ensuring that that information is truthful and shared with vapers, organizations, medical professionals, politicians and the media. I recently found out that this same amazing woman is giving up her career in nursing and will be centering her time and efforts to move forward with her project VAEP, Vaping Advocacy and Education Project. This woman is Kellie Ann Forbes.
Kellie Ann is a Canadian Registered Nurse, former smoker, and current vaper. Kellie is also the founder of VAEP, Vaping Advocacy, and Education Project.
Kellie has accomplished so much while still working as an ER nurse. She has had letters read on the floor of Queen's Park during the Bill 45 debate, her paper Vaping the Truth has been adapted to reflect American's statistics and she has spoken in support of vaping. Again, all this and working!
Starting in February, 100% of her time and focus will be towards VAEP; which means that her income will dwindle down to nothing. She is doing this blindly because she believes what we all believe, that VAPING SAVES LIVES.
Kellie Ann, cannot do this without money. She will need money to cover her living expenses while she spends time researching, developing programs and launching VAEP, which will educate health care professionals and public about vaping.
That is why I have started this campaign, and am asking vapers from across the world to make a donation to her through VAEP. By making a donation, you are not only making a financial contribution, but you are also letting her know that you believe in what she is doing.
The truth is we need Kellie Ann's in the vaping world; our message will be lost with them. SHE cares about people and their health.
VAEP OBJECTIVE
Unify the growing numbers of knowledgeable vapers and their passion for vaping by engaging them in the development and implementation of a population education campaign.
Create support for the effective utilization of vaping within non-vaping populations such as government, non-profit organizations and healthcare agencies by providing access to vaping information and facilitating informed decision making within those groups.
