Vacaville Rugby has been around longer than a lot of people think. It started back in the 80's by Coach Fred Jones. Since then our high school club has a National Championship in 2006 and our Men's club has had numerous successes since its beginning in 2000.
Fast forward to 2016. The club has grown and added a Women's High School Varsity side. In addition to the Women's team Vacaville is looking to expand the club even more with our youth division.
Our goal is simple. Provide the resources and energy needed to grow the game of Rugby in our area. Many of our high school kids don't have the means neccessary to play this game. It costs each kid $200.00 in team dues. $95.00 goes straight to USA Rugby and Rugby NorCal. The remainder ($105.00) goes to the club. More than half of the dues every year don't get paid due to financial status. We need help to keep these students focused and engaged in sports. Being a part of a family where hard work, accountability, respect and class are emphasised in the rugby culture. We don't want an athlete to not play rugby because they can't afford the dues. With your help we can make sure that every athlete can play! Those that need assistance will fill out a "Dues Assistance" form stating how much of the dues they can pay and how much they need assistance with.
There is no donation too big or small to help keep our youth involved in the great sport of rugby! We greatly appreciate any donation you can make!
