Help me get into my apartment!

Donation protected
I hate asking for help, but this is getting to the point I need help.

I have been working toward moving into my own apartment in Houston, TX. I had the money saved up to pay for the deposits, the fees, as well as first and last month rent. But I ran into a major issue when I called the electric company about seeing how much it would cost to set up a bill under my name. I found out there was an old bill still under my name, unpaid, back in New Mexico that was keeping me from getting electric in Texas. When I spoke with the Electric company in new Mexico, I was told there was a outstanding bill for $1137.58, thanks to me believing in my ex would do the right thing. My mistake. I had to pay the bill before I could get electric in Texas, so I paid the bill out of the money saved to rent the apartment, planning on using my next two paychecks to recover the cost.

First problem was they changed my work schedule, which changed how much I was suppose to be making, costing me money I had been counting on. Then I ended up getting extremely sick with first an abscess tooth, then a severe sinus infection. I've missed over a week worth of work due to illness now. My two checks that should have more than made up for me having to pay for the electric bill in New Mexico end up not being enough now for me to move on time.  I need help.

I don't even have things most folks need for a new apartment yet. I don't have dishes, silverware, basic things like a mop/broom/vacuum, or even real furniture except a mattress, a folding table and a computer chair. What was suppose to be me renting an apartment and then using the next check to pay for the basics, I now can't even afford to make the initial payments to get the apartment itself. I make enough to pay the bills every month and keep myself from starving, before anyone worries. I just need help getting the initial deposits covered so I can move on from there.

It just feels like every-time I think I am finally getting on my own two feet, something happens to kick my legs out from under me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know my plan of getting into my own apartment by the 3rd is not going to happen now, but any help that can get me into it soon as possible to help not just myself, but to help take the stress of worry off my dear friend who's been housing me all this time, would be greatly appreciated.

Signal boosting helps as much as donations do, so even if you can't help monetarily, a signal boost would be helpful as well!
