Help Paris get VETMedical Attention

 Hello all (:, My name is Dakota Waite. I am starting this fundraiser for a kitten that is in dire need of help. Paris showed up on my porch, November 14th, 2015; he had a flea collar, as well as a non-break away collar meant for a dog around his neck. He's incredibly affectionate, and loving - so we figured that for sure, someone was missing their family pet. We made flyers, as well as multiple posts to groups on facebook that support lost and found pets, as well as posts on craigslist. We got no response. A few days later, my roommate and I were sitting on our patio playing with him when a group of children walked by with an adult - they claimed that the cat belonged to their aunt, but the lady escorting the children home said that she didn't even know if her friend still wanted him or not, and that she had let him outside due to his persistent crying. Paris is about a year old, and an unneutered male that has already began to start wandering; I highly doubt he has ever received shots of any kind, and he is infested with fleas. He disappeared for a few days, and finally came back home, where he knows there is food available for him (we've been feeding him daily, trying to get his weight back up) - the only problem is that Paris seems to have gotten into a scrap with another male cat and is now sporting a rather large abscess on his shoulder. I have made it my goal, to tend to his needs (shots, checkup, neuter, cleaning of the abscess) however being a SCAD college student with two cats of my own already I cannot do this alone. The money I am trying to raise will go towards Paris entirely, he will receive the medical attention he needs, an exam, FIV testing, as well as his shots for rabies/distemper and neuter. I feel this is the only way, that Paris will be able to find his forever home, which he truly deserves after being abandoned by his own family. I will be forever grateful if you would be willing to donate in order to help Paris get the help he needs! I love animals, and always have - and to see such a sweet cat in need, kills me. I am aiming to have the funds within a week, however, the sooner the better.
