Pray /Give to stop Eviction Notices
Donation protected
An incredible friend of mine who has helped everyone from her grandchildren to complete strangers now finds herself in a situation where she receives an eviction notice monthly. She shared with me that, thanks to some recent increase in her job, all it will take to be caught up, be timely on her rent, and actually be able to save the money she would have spent on late fees to keep a roof over her head to finally get a little ahead financially is $300-$400.
As soon as I learned of the need, I began to pray for God’s provision. But I know there are times that God uses us to be the source of that provision. So if enough of us give a few dollars, I believe we can not only raise the $300-$400 to stop those horrible eviction notices and late fees, but I believe we can all pull together to raise at least $500 to help this amazing woman get a little bit ahead. Believe me, she would much rather be helping than needing help – which is why she would never make this need known on her own.
What saddens me, is so many needs around us go unmet - not because they are impossible to meet, but because they are simply not known. And to be honest, particularly in our Western, hardworking, "I've got this" culture - it is so very hard for people to let their needs be known. That's why I sometimes use my Social Media skills to make some of those needs known - while respecting the recipients' wish for confidentiality.
Please pray for financial provision to stop these eviction notices. And if you can contribute a little bit financially, that would be so very appreciated as well.
Thank you so much!
