SAM GOT HER NEW LUNGS

Hi,  Samantha DeGrace our daughter is 22 years old.  She lives in Kapuskasing, ON.  She was born with a genetic fatal disease called cystic fibrosis and needs a double lung transplant. It affects all her internal organs, her liver, kidneys, pancreas and now her heart from the effort to breath.  She is diabetic and has had kidney sergery when she was six years old from blokage due to excess mucus build-up caused by cystic fibrosis. There is no cure for this monster disease. She will have to relocate to Toronto ON to be put on the transplant list and it is very expensive to live there.  The funds will help her and a family member to take care of her and live there until after her transplant and till She can return to her home town. 

We are hoping that as soon as we relocate and put on the transplant list that it won't be a long wait to get her new lungs but it could be very long.  It would also take away alot of the expenses and stress from her family.   As she was born with cystic fibrosis, the medical expenses have also been the family's first priority.  

Her dream was to become an actress and now her dream is just to breath and be able to join friends and family in events.

It would be very heart warming and words would not be enough to express our feelings on the generosity of everyone that would be helping her in her very difficult journey that is ahead, to be able to start her life again with new lungs and to be able to breath without machines.  A second chance to life would be amazing.
