My amazing PeePs of Carleton Place... Since the passing of Wayne Richards... March 8/16 ... I have felt a huge "LOSS" in our town as I'm sure many of you are feeling it as well. I have spoken with Jerry Flynn about a building Mural being done in honor of Wayne... I'm pleased to let you all know that ..... IT HAS BEEN APPROVED ....
We ( Carleton Place) can & will make it happen... I'm so excited. The location that has been chosen for the mural also has been approved... The location will be the red brick wall of the Queens Hotel where Wayne lived forever & would stand for hours on end everyday talking with people & just enjoy the fresh air. I have taken on this mission on my own BUT I could sure use the kindness & help of the wonderful community to make this happen... So I have set up this funding in hopes of anyone wishing to help with the tribute to Wayne.... as he will forever be in our hearts as well as a part of the history to Carleton Place. The goal amount was entered as something had to be entered... Jerry Flynn will be speaking with the Painter next week and I will know more on the Goal then .... All money donated will be going towards paying the painter
