Help me change the beauty industry

Donation protected
I run a little company that wants to change the beauty world, but I need the proper funfing to make it happen.

Let's look at the issues.
Factory farming is giving birth to GMOs, and the mass killing of animals for food, but did you know that the problem is even worse where it regards your personal care products?Lots of companies will tell you they are cruelty free, but they still sell mass-marketed animal hair brushes. The animals raised for their hair to make brushes are not treated with kindness or care on many factory farms, and the animals that die in the factory process of making meat and using the hair byproducts for brushes lived a cruel existence in most cases. The beeswax that is commonly used in cosmetics comes from the byproduct of bees who feed on GMO crops and toxic fertilizers, and cosmetics companies are putting the byproducts of their untimely deaths via toxins into your eyeliners and lipsticks.  A wide systemic change needs to happen to correct this, and it starts here.Lots of companies sell plant-based "phytotherapy" skin, hair, bath and beauty products, but they are full of ingredients that cause fish and wildlife to suffer, and very few people have any idea where the herbs that are extracted to make their products are coming from, or whether they are being grown sustainably, or without GMO seeds and toxic pesticides.

Many of the ingredients that make up our cosmetics are being farmed in third-world countries, where workers are forced into slave labor and are not receiving ample profit from the back breaking labor of farming. The FD&C dyes that feature in seemingly everything we are consuming or putting on our skins are the byproduct of heavy metal manufacturing, which not only harms the environment, but results in heavy toxicity in large doses. Can you guarantee that the dyes you are consuming are not building up somewhere in your system and wreaking havoc? Even if there's a possibility of that, wouldn't you like to avoid it?

Your cosmetics are being made by a few companies that source from all over the world, at the cheapest, non-fair trade prices they can get. Some of the people you do business with hire labs to make their formulations, and they set a couple of parameters and have a finished product in a short time. They have not personally made sure that product is sourced ethically, it has not been sourced locally, its carbon footprint is enough to make anyone shudder, and many exploitations are happening in even those products which seem ethical. This is how I want to change this industry.I want to see this come to an end, for the sake of the world.People say that one person cannot make a difference, but I beg to differ. Without a person who believes that something different has to happen, and makes that their life's mission, we have no hope. I believe there are hundreds of thousands of you out there who want better. I believe you want to see ethics in the companies that provide your food, your cosmetics, your commodities. I'm just one little person, but I have a huge dream. Here's why you might want to consider funding me:I cannot keep this dream alive alone.I cannot run this comapny alone forever.I am currently in a place where I've run out of money to fund this dream, and to think about it dying kills me. I want to make it a huge impact, I want to make this issue the thing that everyone wants to talk about, and i want to be the provider at the forefront of the movement, but to do it, I have reach beyond my own means, and ask the world that I want to help, to help me do it.Current financial realities for my company grow more dire by the day. I reinvest every cent I make and still spend my grocery money buying organic body paint supplies, keeping the Etsy store and website online, and buying ads to keep it afloat, amongst many other costs that no one sees, but which make a company run. I am currently undegoing a pain disorder which makes it hard for me to take a "beat the streets" approach. I have had to semi-retire from makeup artistry, making in person promotion much harder. Still, though I hurt, I go and do as much as my body will allow, and let the internet do the rest of the walking for me. funding this project will help me take on interns and buy advertising and spread this message to the masses. It will fund a company that simply wants to make a difference in the way people make, buy, and use makeup. My promise is this: if you help me fund this dream, I will fight tirelessly to change this industry. The way to do that is not to legislate it, to use the government to fund it, or try to change things from the outside. I have always said that the only way out is through, and it is by creating demand and consumer pressure that we will change the face of cosmetics. In my founding papers and business plan for this company, there are these underlying values, and there exists a clause therein that no larger company will ever acquire us and change the precepts of the company's ethics. If that means we don't sell in countries that require animal testing, and we lose a piece of the marketshare standing by those beliefs? We'll stick to our guns. If it means we pay more for a raw material that is fair-trade sourced and marketed by an American company, we'll do it. And on. And on. Ethics. This company is about having ethics.

We will stick by these principals:

Prophetics Cosmetics products are:
VeganCruelty freeLocal sourced as much as is possibleOrganic and non GMO sourced wherever possible (and I'd like that to be every ingredient, but the industry has to catch up first)Fair trade sourcedAs harmless as humanly possibleFurthermore, ingredient lists are as simple as I can make them, in the plainest English possible, with full disclosure on all the ingredients used, if requested. My current customers sometimes ask for PDFs of the MSDS fact sheets on all of my ingredients, and I source these and send them out whenever requested.I never use parabens or ingredients proven to break down as formaldehyde.I avoid toxic preservatives.I color everything this company makes with minerals and mica, except a few very specific products, where it's disclosed that there is no way to source the color without using a lake dye. The only place this happens is with fake blood and bright matte red, and it is fully disclosed, and I am working on an alternative that is not a lake dye, but that is also going to cost money to do, and I simply do not have it right now. Please help me further these goals and this dream. Even a few bucks helps. I set the goal high because that's what I need to make this company into the superpower I envision. But a giant wall is not built by starting with the end goal: it starts by laying one brick after another. Help me lay the bricks that will build a company that has the power to change the world.
