Chula Vista Futbol Club was born as a YOUTH soccer club and continues is not-profit work since 1982, and has added a Adult team which was considered the cinderella story of the 2015 U.S. Open Cup, before there elimination in Round 3 to Sacramento Republic.
The team qualified to the 2015 U.S. Open Cup by crowning themselves as 2014 Regional 4 Champions of the United States Adult Soccer Association. After there elimiation versus Sacramento Republic, they started there work in coming back to the 2016 U.S. Open Cup by crowinging themselves Regional Champions for the second consecutive year in a row.
Chula Vista FC, the top ameauter team, in U.S. Soccer's Region 4 for the past two years will be traveling to Virginia Beach for Nationals July 16-19, 2015.
