Aaron's Fight

Aaron Lamarche is an 8 year old grade 3 student who attends Baxter Central P.S (small town just north of Alliston ON).  In November 2015 Aaron was diagnosed with Ependymoma (Brain-Spinal Cancer).  After a lengthy surgery at Sick Kids Hospital, Aaron under went intense radiation for 6 weeks.  While we were enjoying the holidays with our family and friends, Aaron and his family were at daily radiation sessions in Toronto.  Meanwhile their house, jobs, and holidays were left on the back burner.  Aaron is being raised by his grandparents for reasons beyond their control.  Trauma has already impacted this family prior to Aaron becoming ill.  Aaron's follow up was on February 26, 2016.  While the radiation had left Aaron weak, without an appetite, tired and hair loss, it did nothing else.  In fact, not only did the radiation not work, the cancer has spread.  Aaron is at an aggressive progressive stage that is now terminal.  The family is unable to work at this time because they are spending their time ensuring Aaron has a quality of life as close to any other 8 year old.  Aaron is my son's best friend and the family are near and dear to our hearts.  We ask that you please donate what you can to help this family through a very difficult time.  There are still monthly living expenses, medical expenses that are not covered through our health care system, etc.  Aaron is a beautiful soul and loves everything that every other 8 year old boy does.  Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and the Lamarche Family.
