X-mas wishlist: uO Heart Institute

My name is Maxime Lê. I am an active member in my community, and I'm a student and worker at the University of Ottawa. I study Health Sciences!
My grandfather has been going to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute for quite some time. One morning, when I was with him, I saw that the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation published a ''Christmas Wishlist'' for the expansion and construction of a new ward to better treat the unwell.
They need to raise enough money to get some supplies for the new expansion! I hope to have it by Christmas!
So, because I care about my grandpa who has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and I care for everyone who was around me that had other cardiac affections, I wanted to help however I could.
To me, 2000$ seems like a very reasonable goal. If only 200 people donated just 10$, the goal will be reached! With that money, we could buy two mobile medicine carts, and that will definitely aid a lot. That is a simple and very reasonable goal.
The help we provide can save lives. It can permeate joy into saddened days, and allow the ill to get back to their families and enjoy life. And because of our efforts, they'll be able to laugh and cherish one more Christmas, and many more afterwards.
To people who are sick, to those who might not know if they'll get to see their grandchildren graduate, or their kids get married, living a longer, healthier life is very important.
To me, it means I can spend another Christmas with my grandpa. It means I can enjoy his turkey dinners and hilarious sense of humour. It means he gets to be happier, longer!
And that's why I turn to the community, the country, the world for support. We can change some lives.
If this goal is reached, which, I am confident that it will, I will be extremely proud and extremely thankful. It means that as a community, our efforts have been the result of our collective humanities. It shows that solidarity links us all together, and we have demonstrated our support once again, for a good cause.

Je m'appel Maxime Lê. Je suis un membre actif dans ma communauté, et un étudiant et travailleur à l'Université d'Ottawa. J'étudie en Sciences de la Santé!
Mon grandpère va à l'Institut de Cardiologie de l'Université d'Ottawa pour un bout maintenant. Un matin, lorsque j'étais avec lui, la Fondation de l'Institut de Cardiologie de l'Université d'Ottawa avait publié une liste de souhaits pour Noël pour l'expansion et la construction d'une nouvelle aile afin de mieux traiter les malades.
Ils ont besoin assez d'argent pour pouvoir acheter des équipements pour la nouvelle expansion! J'espère effectivement que le but sera atteint pour Noël!
Donc, puisque je me souci de mon grandpère qui a l'hypertrophie myopathique, et pour tout les autres qui nous entouraient ayant une affection cardiaque, je voulais aider le plus possible.
Pour moi, 2000$ semble être un but très raisonable. Si seulement 200 personnes donnaient que 10$, le but serait atteint! Avec cet argent, on peut acheter 2 unités mobiles de médicaments, et cela peut vraiment aider. C'est un but très raisonable et simple.
L'aide que nous offrons peut sauver des vies. Ça peut faire infiltrer la joie dans des journées tristes, et permettre aux malades de retourner à leur familles et profiter de la vie. Et, dû à nos efforts, ils pourront rire et apprécier un autre Noël, et beaucoup plus par la suite.
Pour ceux qui sont malades, pour ceux qui ne savent pas s'ils verront leur petits enfants graduer, ou leur propres enfants se marrier, vivre une vie plus longue et en santé est très important.
Pour moi, ça veut dire que je pourrais passer un autre Noël avec mon grand-père. Ça veut dire que je peux profiter de ses repas de dinde et de sons sens d'humour hilarant. Ça veut dire qu'il peur être content, plus longtemps!
Donc, c'est pour ça que je tourne vers la communauté, vers le pays, vers le monde pour le support. Nous pouvons changer des vies.
Si le but est atteint, qui, je suis certain qu'il sera, je vais être extrêmement fier et je vais tellement l'apprécier. Ça veut dire qu'en tant que communauté, nos efforts auront été le résultat de notre humanité collective. Ça démontre que la solidarité nous unie tous ensembles, et qu'on démontre notre support encore une fois, pour une bonne cause.
