Buying A Building For Kids Programs

My name is Massah Saffa, Founder of the Universal Achievers Foundation Inc.
Vision: To support and inspire kids and youths to identify their potentials and develop themselves to be productive members in society.
I am a mother of an abused victim. A sweet innocent child, sent to learn and be safe at her daycare at age 3. As a single mother, I was so devastated and broken, looking for answers as to how? and why? It took me 7 years to get that sad answer. Since then in 2007....I gave up all my career as a fashion designer, an accountant, and office position as Payroll Coordinator at the Police Athletic League, to pursue the knowledge of knowing how children needs to be cared for. I requested for transfer as an Office Manager at the same establishment, working directly with 144 kids, trying to figure out what happened? and How?.... but within that process, I also experienced how it is to struggle and survive with less and sometimes without, though I'm endowed with skills. Coming around these kids while learning, I fell in love with them due to their innocence, and started doing all it takes to make them safe and happy, and to help others bringing their skills to life, though I was also finding my path to answers. For this reason, I started this organization 'Universal Achievers Foundation" in 2010 here in NYC and we've served up to 100 kids within the city. But due to challenges we're facing on space, it caused a halt. We want to move on..... We’ve occupied 2 different locations now, but due to sudden spike in rental fees which we could not afford, backed by tight conditions and rules, we had to vacate. At the second location, it wasn't 100% safe for the kids, due to natural caused disaster, and other tough challenges, we were forced out of this location and we ended up doing programs at the libraries, McDonald's and it wasn't convenient, so we had to put all programs on a halt.
The kids are missing out. As one participant 'Violet' mentioned.... Miss Massah, when are we going to start coming back, I missed my friend and the great activities". I was speechless and just answered "soon". Because of this, we need everyone's support on this cause for us to buy our own building. Help us put back that smile on the face of these kids and a secured space for young adults to learn career and nurture the inner skills within them and keeping them safe, as every parent desire a safe and better place for their children to be while at work, and also every hidden skills in our youths, need to be brought out, and it will one-day be a source of their survival and will take them places. No one knows how it feels, until it happens to you.
So by helping us buy a building, you will be providing a huge service to all the kids and youths, including Violet. Please either sponsor a percentage of the set goal amount, or sponsor our upcoming fundraising events.
Please remember that by helping us buy this building, you will not only be doing us a big favor towards our organization, but will also be helping the entire community, the organization and members, because the building will also be used for other things, other than programs, like meetings, trainings, workshops and so much more, so please help us out!
