Rocky's SE Asia Backpacking Trip

As many of you may know, for numerous years I have been doing some serious and lengthy backpack traveling to over sixty countries. It's no big deal to me, but some people feel what this old guy does is fascinating! At 87 years old, I am currently planning my next trip to South East Asia. This adventure will be a special trip for me and you may find it interesting enough to be a part of it yourself!
First, I have always been a budget traveler and l couldn't have done it any other way. When I first started traveling, I followed a guide book titled “Europe on Five Dollars a Day” and it worked extremely well for me. Thank you Arthur Frommer! Many years later, for better or for worse, I am still a budget traveler. Now in my later years, my income is so much less and travel costs are exponentially greater. My planned three-month adventure in South East Asia will be more expensive that I originally thought.
I am starting this campaign asking you to help me fund, what very well may be, one of my last big adventures! In return, I will be sharing reports and photos of my adventures on social media. Perhaps, I may even share some of Uncle Rocky’s water color paintings I make while traveling. This will give me the extra good reason and responsibility for my travels other than just having a good time. You will find out what Uncle Rocky is up, backpacking around Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and God knows where else. I can taste the Pho and Pad Thai now!
Some friends and relatives who know about my plans, say that they might like to meet up with me somewhere along the trail (beach resort in Thailand?, Ankor Wat in Cambodia?). That would be wonderful! I would love to have visitors along the way and would even see to it that your hotel would be much nicer than mine! Come on down!
