Unamuno Writers Festival

When I visited Spain two years ago, I was invited to read  in the Unamuno author series by Spencer Reece. The intimate reading at the brilliant bookstore, Desperate Literature, was was a wonderful mix of poets, students, and artists. Some listeners came simply to improve their English, expats came just to hear English, and some to hear poems.

Now, I've been invited to the inaugural Unamuno Author Festival in May of 2019 . This festival, created by Spencer Reece, is an international exchange of poets from the US, Spain, and Europe. There is an inspirational list of poets attending (I'm honored to be among them), and I am raising money to cover travel costs and the cost of taking leave without pay, so I can participate.
