Soy María Meléndez y mi familia ora sin perder la fe por mi esposo Roberto Ocando. Roberto nació en Ciudad Ojeda, Venezuela. Actualmente residimos en Dallas, Texas. A los 5 años Roberto presentó severos problemas cardíacos pero luego fue descartado por los medicos.
Hasta hoy, los problemas no habian vuelto a aparecer, pero lamentablemente, el 29 de marzo de 2018 ingresó para ser hospitalizado en el Methodist Richardson Medical Center. El día 30 de marzo su estado se complicó, y debió ser ingresado en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos. Su corazón, por su mismo problema congénito funciona al 10%, y ha envejecido de tal manera que la única solución a su problema es un transplante de corazón abierto.
Es por ello que recurrimos a tu caritativo corazón y a ti, para que nos ayudes a pagar el transplante de corazón de Roberto.
Daríamos todo para salvar la vida de nuestro guía familiar pero no contamos con los recursos económicos suficientes para costear los servicios médicos del centro en donde está recluído, y los del hospital donde harán el transplante. Los gastos además de los medicamentos del tratamiento post-transplante son costosísimos.
Nuestra fe nos mueve a pedir tu ayuda. Necesitamos cubrir los gastos de la manutención de nuestros niños. Pues ni Roberto ni yo podemos trabajar mientras lucha por su vida.
Gracias de verdad por tomarte el tiempo de leer éstas líneas. Nosotros su familia estamos muy agradecidos con cualquier contribución que puedas hacer.

My name is María Meléndez and my family is praying faithfully for my husband Roberto Ocando. Roberto was born in Ciudad Ojeda, Venezuela but we currently live in Dallas, Texas. When Roberto was 5 years old, he was diagnosed with a severe heart problem but it was later ruled out by the doctors and he continued to live a normal life, until now
Unfortunately, on March 29, 2018, he went to the ER at the Methodist Richardson Medical Center because he suddenly fell ill, but when he was there, his condition got even more complicated, and he had to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. The problem was his heart, because of the same congenital problem, it’s now working at 10% capacity, and it’s so damaged that the only solution is a heart transplant.
That is why we are now asking for any kind of donation, to help us pay for Roberto's heart transplant.
We would give everything to save his life, but we do not have enough financial resources to pay for the medical expenses the transplant entails. As you might imagine, the medical expenses are extremely high and are completely beyond our reach. We also need to cover our current living expenses and take care of our kids, because, at this moment, neither Roberto nor I can work, while he’s fighting for his life.
Our faith moves us to ask for your help.
