Un ayuda para la abuela Zoraida

Nuestra abuela Zoraida vive en Venezuela, recientemente tuvo una serie de acontecimientos médicos, le diagnosticaron arritmia que conllevó a un Accidente Vasculo-Cerebral (ACV); su glicemia en sangre  llegó a 500 mg/dl desencadenado un coma diabético, sin antes haber sido diagnosticada como tal; adicionalmente ella tiende a desarrollar infecciones urinarias por un prolapso vesical, esto causa que no pueda orinar por completo y se cree un cultivo de bacterias en la vejiga; como muchas personas saben, la situación de Venezuela hizo migrar a los venezolanos, dividiendo familias como la nuestra, mi abuela entro en un estado depresivo que bajo sus defensas y esta vez la infección fue de tal grado que las bacterias entraron en su torrente sanguíneo causando una septicemia, colocandola en un estado crítico demandando cuidados intensivos.


Actualmente ella sigue internada en la UCI, por lo tanto continua aumentando la cuenta en la clínica.

Para tratar la septicemia se le indicó Invanz (ertapenem) 1g por 10 días, este antibiótico no se consigue a la venta en Venezuela, por lo tanto, tenemos que comprarlo en el exterior, con un costo por las 10 unidades de 1286$

Para tratar la diabetes tipo 2 le indicaron
-Lantus (insulina glargina) 100 uds/cc de por vida, con un costo de 280$
-Glucómetro con un costo de 10 a 12$
-Tiras reactivas 100 unidades con un costo de 65$
-Lancetas 100 unidades con un costo de 10 a 15$

Los fondos se necesitan con urgencia para poder pagar los medicamentos y evitar que saquen a nuestra abuela de la clínica, ya que es el único lugar accesible económicamente donde le darán el cuidado requerido.

Currently, she is still admitted to the ICU, therefore she continues to increase her clinic mount.
