Oszust Memorial Fund

On Thursday February 4, 2016, Chester & Marie AKA Cookie Oszust were celebrating their 39th Wedding Anniversary. On their way home during a rain storm they were detoured due to an accident. Later the next day the family was informed by Lee County Sheriff's Department that the vehicle was located and that Marie & Chester were no longer with us. The family is struggling with the loss of their parents, sister and grandparents. With this sudden loss they are trying to gather funds to cover basic funeral cost.

Chester served our country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was an active Honor Guard, member of the American Legion and VFW. He was well known in the community. He was a loving father, husband, uncle and grandfather.

Marie was a hard working woman as well as a wonderful mother who raised 3 children. She was also an active member  in the American Legion and VFW. Many in the community may remember Cookie from the Family Dollar Store on Leeland Heights/Joel Blvd. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt and grandmother.
