Oakland teachers had an amazing first two days of the Strike. 96% of teachers are on Strike and 97% of students were out of schools in solidarity with teachers.
As we prepare to continue the strike on Monday, we need support with basic supplies to keep us joyfully militant on the picket lines (rain or shine)!
We will use these funds for the following supplies and more: canopies, banners to paint, porta-potties, childcare for picket captain meetings, art supplies, ponchos, umbrellas, supplies to waterproof picket signs, etc.
