Ultrasound & Treatment for Princess
My cat is sick and needs help fast. On Monday, August 7th, she started howling out in pain and panting, so I rushed her to the animal hospital. After an xray, blood test, and urine test, the vet found 3 things: a urinary tract infection, low blood cell count (both red and white) and some masses near her left kidney, the latter of which has proven to be the bigest of her problems.
Despite medicinal treatment for the UTI and immune system, her pain persists, causing her to cry and fall over panting every so often, like she did before.
The vet said it's definitely the masses near her kidneys causing her pain, and the only way to go forward with treating her is to first get an ultrasound, so we know what the masses are, and how they can be fixed or removed. The ultrasound alone is nearly $500, but we need it done soon so we can go forward with treatment. I'd like to help her get rid of her pain as soon as possible, as I fear this could only get worse the longer we wait. If we end up raising over $500, any extra funds will go towards her continued treatment.
Princess is very important to me, and has been here for me for 14 years. She excitedly greets me at the door when I come home, snuggles with me when I'm sad, and gladly soaks up all of the attention that I want give her. I've grown up with her, and not only is she one of my closest friends, but she is like my child. Seeing her in pain like this is heartbreaking. I just want to see her back to her normal, loving, carefree self.
