My Granddaughter, has inherited a desease her father died from, Cirrhosis of the Liver. She is currently at stage 4, a very advanced level of the desease. She has an appointment at the Lahey Clinic Mass. in early June, which at that time will be put on a donor list. Once she has gone to that appointment, I will have more details on money needed and how it will be spent.
I understand that many of you give many times over and would hope this would be the last case that needs donations, but unfortunately there will be thousands more in need and I can only thank you in advance for another, of many donations you have made to others.
My granddaughter is married,  has a little boy and girl. She is in great pain, yet still works to help provide for her family. In Maine, State help is very difficult.
