My daughter Dom ,as she is affectionately known, was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer at the age of 26. Dom has 2 children, which are 6 and 13 years old. Prior to her diagnosis she had plans to register at Delgado college to earn a pharmacy technician degree. She also thought about becoming a pharmacist one day. Dom has worked the last 4 years as a nursing assistant. Dom is currently receiving chemotherapy at Ochsner hospital. She is a strong, God fearing young lady who always speak positive about her illness. Thus,her family and friends remain positive. However, her illness has hindered her financially. Yet, she and her family have faith that she will obtain her goals one day. Dom's doctors have ordered her to refrain from employment for one full year. This is the reason  why her family and friends suggested a fund, along with faith and prayers. Her family realizes how stressful financial hardship can be and  feel that she needs to be able to focus on prayers and health not finances. Dom appreciates your love, prayers and contributions. Although her uncle Jerome(who is my brother) died at the age of 34 years old of lymphoma didn't beat it,  " I will beat it for him!"she exclaimed.
