Carlbrook Teachers' Fund
Carlbrook School opened in 2002 and recently announced that it will close its doors. There were 13 teachers employed by the school when it went bankrupt and, despite many of them having worked for the school for over a decade, they were given no severance. They are losing their jobs in the middle of an academic school year and, thus, will likely struggle to find full-time work before August.
Collections from this fund will be split evenly among the 13 employees. While we understand that we are setting our sights high with this goal, please remember that the actual value for each individual will be 1/13th of the money raised.
Please help make the holidays just a tad bit brighter for these individuals and their families.
The teachers who will benefit from these donations are:
Craig Bartholomew, Ph.D.
Jean Bartholomew, M.A.
Richard Boykin, M.A.
Richard Brosius, M.S.
Barbara Carnavale, M.Ed.
Armando Cooper, B.S.
Tammy Ferguson, Ph.D.
Katherine Izzo, M.A.
Aldonita Lane
Seth Shelby, B.S.
Scott Ramey, B.A.
Leslie Robinson, B.A.
Mathew Stafford, M.F.A.
