Our dear friend Carla Ables is facing a total knee replacement on May 19th. As the major financial support of the family, she will be required to be away from work for up to 8 weeks after surgery and maybe even longer.
In addition in May of 2014 her husband, Barry suffered a pinpoint stroke which has affected his vision and his ability to contribute to the family income has been greatly diminished. Barry's vision continues to be affected even after a full year of treatments.
Her insurance will cover only a minimal portion of this surgery and she needs help not only to fund the remanining portion of the replacement surgery, but to manage living expenses during her recovery.
