Caroline's Golf Dream

Je m'appelle Caroline Ciot. J'ai 25 ans et je poursuis actuellement mon rêve d'évoluer sur les plus grands circuits de golf au monde . Je participe présentement à une multitude de tournois sur le circuit canadien afin de perfectionner mon jeu et de me préparer pour le Q-School en août 2016, en Californie. J'ai terminée 17e meilleure joueuse amateur au niveau national à l'ordre de mérite 2015. De plus, j'ai terminé 2e au championnat national universitaire 2015. Sur la scène provinciale, je me suis classée, les 4 dernières années au premier rang du circuit universitaire. Également, j’ai terminé première à l'Ordre de mérite amateur québécois en 2015. 
 
Le Q-School est un passage obligatoire afin d'atteintre les plus grands tournois de golf au monde. Le Q-School est divisé en trois étapes où il y a une coupure après chacune d'entre elles.  Bien entendu, chacune de ces étapes engendre d'importants coûts. Les frais d'inscriptions dépassent les 5500$ US, sans compter le voyagement, l'hébergement, les frais d'entraînement et autres dépenses connexes. Tel que mentionné précédemment, la première étape se déroule en Californie, tandis que les deux suivantes sont en Floride, quelques mois plus tard.

Pouvoir jouer dans les plus gros tournois de golf au monde serait pour moi, l'aboutissement d'un rêve. Depuis mes débuts, je cherche constamment à m'améliorer, pouvoir jouer avec les meilleures joueuses au monde serait une immense fierté. Mon jeu est en constant progrès et ma préparation sera complétée afin d’être au sommet de ma forme pour les qualifications. My name is Caroline Ciot. I'm 25 years old and currently pursuing my dream of playing in the biggest golf tournaments in the world. For the moment, I've been playing in a multitude of tournaments on the Canadian scene to sharpen up my game and get ready for the Q-school in August 2016. In 2015, I wat ranked 17th best female amateur in Canada. I also finished 2nd at the 2015 University National Championship. On the provincial scene, I have been ranked 1st among the university players for the last four years. Moreover, I finished at the top for the 2015 Quebec Amateur Order of Merit.


The Q-School is a mandatory step towards the biggest golf tournaments in the world. The Q-School is divided in three stages, from which there is a cut after each of them. Of course, each of these stages generate serious expenses. The registration fees surpass 5500$ USD, excluding transportation, lodging, the coaching staff and other expenses.  I will have to travel long distances the first stage being in California and the next ones being in Florida few months later.

To finally achieve this level of competition would be a dream come true. Since I started playing golf, I am constantly looking to improve my game. I always dreamed of playing with the best players in the world, it would represent a tremendous opportunity.  My game is constantly improving and my preparation will be completed to be on the top of my game for the qualifications.
