UCLA vs. Stanford Viewing Party

Hi Everyone,
My name is Danny Siegel and I'm the General Representative 1 in UCLA's undergraduate student government. If you don't remember, I'm the guy who made a campaign video getting tackled by Myles Jack https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ri8e19zB7lQ.
For my main platform, I'm planning on having an on campus viewing party for the the UCLA vs. Stanford game in Pauley Pavilion. I thought this was a cool idea considering it was an away game and a great way to engage students with the team early in the year and really try to emphasize student unity and appreciation for our athletics. We are expecting around 5000 students so this should be a high profile event.
The game is coming up in a few weeks, on October 15, but I've hit a few snags. The cost of the event has become an issue, as the event is estimated to cost around $8500.00, but after the 7.9% fee the website takes, the total comes out to about $9200.00. This includes security, audio and visual, custodial personnel, etc. But my main source of funding has been through student government which is unable to cover the costs, and administrators such as the Athletics Dept have declined to provide ANY funding. I've been trying to get corporate sponsors and have offered to allow them to advertise in Pauley, but all I've spoken to only want to do giveaways and not help pay for the event due to UCLA Athletics.
I'm going out on a limb here asking if anyone is interested in helping fund this event, have their businesses sponsor, or have any advice on how to come up with the funding. Pauley officials told me I have until Wednesday morning to confirm that this event will be funded and it would really be a shame if I had to cancel the event because I think this event could really go a ways towards improving the student experience and future attendance at the Rose Bowl. I know how many die hard UCLA fans there are and that's why I feel comfortable asking you all such a tall task.
This event if funded is looking to be a major success. Any donations would be greatly appreciated as many are really looking forward to this event.
