Ethiopian girls:empower and educate

Our names are Ruth Haileselassie and Melale Hailu and we are rising seniors in High School. We are enrolled in a class called AP Research in which we have to explore a problem or issue that interests us and conduct research to address it. For our AP Research project, we will be visiting our hometown of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia  to deliver essential sex education to young school-age girls. We understand that adequate sex education is key to the proper development of a woman. As girls who have grown up in a first world country where we are provided with immense resources to learn from, we are extremely passionate about being a resource for girls in countries like Ethiopia who wish to educate themselves about themselves. We are raising money to be able to go to Ethiopia and make this experience a great one for both ourselves and the girls we will be teaching. Money raised will  fund our materials, transportation and other necessities directly related to this project. We sincerely appreciate any contribution!
