Uber English -- bottom-up learning
There are many language apps available, so what makes Uben English different? The bottom-up approach instead of top-down. Nearly all apps for English as a second language start the learning process with phrases. By the time the students gets to the 10th phrase, he/she has already forgotten the first phrase. Uben English bottom-up approach teaches how to pronounce 1000 most common words (in 30 to 90 days). Then the learner can form thousands of phrases within the realm of 1000 words. Over a relatively short time (about two years), the student can pronounce some 5000 words and will be well on his/her way to fluency.
Uben English is unique! Its concept was key to my straight A's in college even though I had just arrived from Brazil when I started college in San Jose, California. And guess what? I had only one year of high school!
I increased my vocabulary threefold within a year, which helped me achieve the desired English fluency even before I left Brazil for the US. Thanks to technology, now I'm able to share my learning innovation through an app. I have the content ready, but I am not a programmer. I need funds to pay for app coders. This is a complex project according to many sources that I consulted with, such as Upwork.com and Yeti.co.
I overcame big obstacles to my education. The self-taught path I traveled has taught me how to simplify complex subjects. I learned how to read at age 10 in the midst of great despair while growing up in the favelas of Brazil. Learning to read unlocked my mind to a world outside of my harsh reality. I have enjoyed the fun of word learning and discovery ever since. I bring this zest and enchantment into Uben English app. Students (both ESL and native speakers) can benefit from insights that helped me go from despair in Brazil to top grades at San Jose City College, Golden Gate University, and San Jose State (MBA).
The app will help learners with Pronunciation, Accent Reduction and Spelling. Even native speakers will benefit from the Spelling and Grammar games.
