Our Dear Joaquina….
An unfortunate accident caused our Joaquina to have a trauma induced Carotid Artery Dissection causing her to have a stoke affecting her left side. Amongst many more injuries, her right leg was severely injured and will need multiple surgeries. Even-though this tragedy has changed her life in every way her unbroken strength and everlasting smile pushes her to make miraculous recovery milestones. The long road of recovery isn't slowing her positive and tenacious spirit but the inability to work to support herself and her son for months and months to come is the road block she is facing. This accident has left her owing $9,000 with more to come in medical bills.
Because of Joaquina’s compassionate nature of putting others before herself and her distinguished pride she isn't one to ever ask for help.
