UPDATE, Friday, March 15:

The Carrizo Comerudo tribe of Texas has a mission to populate and support a network of peaceful front Line Encampments (Wolf Pack) villages along the Mexican-American border. The villages are tasked with, "protecting indigenous sacred sites, resisting construction of the LNG (fracked gas) terminal, accompanying pipelines, and educating people about the environmental devastation the Border Wall will cause." The mission of the Carrizo Comerudo tribe includes bringing witness and peaceful direct action to the border wall as it is being constructed. Peaceful operations planned and phased over time will educate the world on this misguided and unnecessary project.

We continue building more camps and villages and and just opened our new encampment on the grounds of the National Butterfly Center.  For those interested in standing the line you are encouraged to join us.  For those who understand our resistance but cannot come, please contribute generously that we may continue fighting for basic Human Rights.

Camps A Rising serves as a fiscal agent for the Carrizo/Comerudo Tribe of Texas. We are gathering funds so we can order supplies, gear and equipment to be used in this operation. All funds are directed to the tribal effort and Camps A Rising passes 100% of monies to the tribe. We are known for our fiscal accountability and invite you to learn more at our financial portal at Camps A Rising.

And you have provided essential gear for the people living at Somi Se'k Base Camp and the frontline camps of Yalui and now Mariposa. You helped provide a drone for the tribe and its allies to use in meeting the mission.

This update is offered as a way to show you the gear we have been able to utilize because of your generosity.

You have helped fund Kitchen and storage units, security equipment such as night vision binoculars and a drone along with so much more. Thank you so much.
